~Farewell Ma Belle Amie~

Posted by
Kylie Greenan (Hunters Hill, Australia) on 24 February 2009 in Animal & Insect.

It is with a broken heart that today I spend my last day in the sunshine with my girl ~Ma Belle Amie~. The vet has told me today that her organs are shutting down, her heart has slowed and she has lost nearly another half a kilo, and we made the decision that I would bring her home to celebrate her life and say our goodbyes today. Tomorrow morning he will come by the house and send her to the rainbow bridge, to be at peace, a place she will no longer be in pain or have to struggle.

We have been blessed with a break in the rain today and we have been sitting outside in the sun, loving being brushed, watching the butterflys and me telling her how brave she is and how much I love her. This image was taken of her today in the garden.

My beautiful girl, you have brought so much love and joy to our life, I have been blessed and honoured that you have spent your time with me. Thank you for the countless hours of talking, purring, loving and all you have given to us. We will miss you deeply, but after tomorrow, I know you will no longer have to struggle and will be in a place where St Francis and all the animals, are free of pain and live a happy life in heaven. God speed you with love to your next journey, beyond. We love you sweet sweet girl. God bless your beautiful soul. Mummy, Molly & Em.

Go on angels wings sweetheart.
