@Monique: Thank you Monique, much appreciated!
Kylie!
30 Jul 2008 6:25am

@Arps: I have wondered this also Arps... it's actually a truck as you will see tomorrow.. .the images are quite deceiving aren't they! Thanks for your comments here, much appreciated.
Merci encore.
Amazing!! Rust is certainly an apt title. Its a fab series, I feel like I'm getting to know the vehicle bit by bit and feel there must be a story behind its existance and eventual demise.....
30 Jul 2008 6:55am
@linerberry: thank you so much Linerberry, great to see your comments link back to your page now :o). I am not sure of the story behind it or its demise, but what I like most about it was that it almost told a story on its own. Thanks for dropping by.

Hi Kylie, thanks for visiting me. I don't know if you realized that I have two photos of old abandoned cars. I have many more that I intend to upload but haven't done it yet. It's amazing that, in two different parts of the world, we photographed almost the same subjects in this case. Besides you have a green grasshopper and I also have one, haha, it's amazing.
I loved all your photos!
7 Aug 2008 12:48pm
@Liset: No I didn't realise, wow, I will be sure to check it out. Thanks for your comments and stopping by! Seems we have a similar eye for detail :o)
Your images are incredible...beautiful work, very inspiring.
Love this image in particular. I love the shallow dof and composition, but what I love more is your subject. There's something about old, rusty, abandon things that really stir up emotions. Things that have been left forgotten waiting for someone to notice them.
Also, thanks for taking the time to visit my pblog.
