Blood sky... a prayerPosted by Kylie Greenan (Hunters Hill, Australia) on 9 February 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. My heart goes out to all those in Australia that struggle with the fires, the loss and devistation. Please God be with those who have lost loved ones, friends and neighbours, please help them find peace in the chaos and disaster that continues to threaten lives and livestock, wipe out towns and homes, properties, businesses and wildlife. So many have lost so much. Please all pray for rain, to help put the fires out in Victoria and NSW. Thank you for those who have contacted me, I am safe and well and not near the fires, my loved ones are safe also, I so appreciate your concern, what a beautiful community!. For those in our community that are close to the fires, my thoughts and prayers are with you. It is times like these we realise how lucky we are, for me, to have my loved ones safe, a roof over my head, a new job and Bella finding the fight to live, humbles me and makes me so grateful. Love and blessings, Ky © Kylie Greenan Photography 2009

Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New ZealandBeautiful Kyles...your words say everything and your image portrays the force of a fire but also the strength of people to pull through! I pray for your continuing safety, and that of your loved ones. But I echo what Jeff commented; having friends now through Am3 in Australia now, this disaster is no longer just disembodied news on the TV. I care and pray. In reading your post, I see your Bella is still hanging on. I am glad to know this. Continuing prayers for life to prevail. It's day by day with me, I am still missing my Bella terribly, but some of the "raw" pain of losing her is starting to lessen with the passage of a bit of time. Life goes on, but it will take a lot of time to get over this. 9 Feb 2009 12:33pm EYES WIDE SHUT from United KingdomGood to hear that you are safe, Kylie.
