I really like the lighting on the ground around the tree, and what seems to be the sun through the tree which looks almost like fruit heh. Very nice work.

i'm particularly drawn by the trunk/bark area.. the contrast of shape against the green. somehow the shadow on the left plays a part.

u reminded me of my tree when i was around ten. This old tree with big roots in school. the area was undergoing renovation so somehow, aorund one portion of root, there wasnt soil. it was was a giant "root bench" if u can imagine.. i used to meet my best friend there and chat too =)

WOW Kylie this is SSSSOOOMMMEE picture. It is a wonderful wonderland of colours and the shape of of the foreground and background are exquisite with the sun peeping through giving the impression of a Chinese lantern hanging from the tree. marvelous, one of my favourites of your captures.

Your place is beautiful, your photograph is beautiful ... and the sentiment with which you engage this special place is beautiful too

...This one brought tears to my eyes and and goosebumps to body...if only that tree could talk!! Will never forgot that special day when the mulberries on it were in abundance and we scoffed them down like two little 5 year olds. Very special this one is to me... MWAH! (that's a kiss for those of you who don't know) x
