Don't forget the "Caturday Challenge" on the 11th October, still a couple of weeks to get organised. Thank you Eleftheria for posting this challenge also, you are wonderul.

I took this image down at Circular Quay, I was standing behind her mother watching this little girl so fascinated and focused on her icecream, it reminded me of being a child. The light was hitting her face from somewhere and she caught my eye. I was standing far enough away so that "mum" couldn't see me photographing her, hence the soft focus, I just thought she was adorable though.

I like the way she is lost to ice-cream. I must admit to feeling like that when eating some delicious food on occasions, although I don't remember ice-cream having that effect on me as a kid. The nice crop, and the expression of this child makes for a lovely candid composition on the pleasures of yummy food.

Hi Kylie - *sigh* - this really does bring back memories! Even today I just love chocolate ice cream cones, and treat myself every now and again even though my doc would have a fit! I might even have the same expression while eating them, though certainly not the same beautiful face.

Love the capture of that expression and the framing. This is a high quality image, too. I wonder what that is intrudung into the upper right hand corner, though? Could be something in her hair. Personally I would remove it, one way or another. As it bothers no one else, just take it as me thinking aloud. Great photo, anyway!
